POSITION OVERVIEW
The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing field operations, general
safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, commissioning, coordination with other
Superintendent and project leaders on the jobsite.
This position reports to the Director of Construction or another senior management
personnel that the Head of LEVELUP Enable may designate. This position requires 100%
travel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position; and
Directs construction personnel and/or installation subcontractors to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Coordination of personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules.
Support the team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities.
Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action.
Follow and implement the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.
Identify welding certification, training and experience appropriate for assignment scope.
Coordinate and implement resources and activities necessary to maintain a safe and quality execution.
Assure all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance.
Coordination with pile suppliers and racking vendors as needed
Advise site teams and subcontractors on tooling & equipment required to complete task
Identify testing required per projects scope of work
Communication with engineering parties to meet commissioning & construction requirements
Manage personnel needed to complete project assignment
Communicate with Surveyor and understand surveying equipment
Supervise, train and support drillers, pile driver operators, mechanical racking/module crews, subcontractors
Coordination with material manager for all delivery staging and receiving
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of commercial or utility scale mechanical Foreman experience required.
2+ years of commercial or utility mechanical Superintendent or Construction Management experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting the constructions of major projects.
Experience with multiple racking manufacturers, subcontractors, pile driver manufacturers
Willingness to travel and relocate from project to project.
Experience with MS Project or comparable project management tools. preferred
Experience with ProCore, preferred.
Strong in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in written and spoken English and Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience reviewing mechanical manuals of installation and design technical packages, understand top of pile designs.
Assertive, able to cope with pressure, and maintain a team player attitude.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
May have to interact with Owner’s Field Representative and outside testing agencies.
Experience operating construction equipment, pile drivers and GPS surveying equipment
Knowledge of installation methods for the different mechanical systems in the industry
Preventative Maintenance / Grease / Fuel / Warranty
QA/QC Inspection
Updating Drawings for as-builts
Supervise pile Pull Testing & Refusal Logs

SALARY RANGE FOR POSITION
The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in New Jersey, NJ is $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 base salary per year.
